Observational studies of nature whilst travelling and relaxing, this is the work Nigel does when he's not in the studio. Taken from Nigel's ever present sketchpads these images depict the effects of the seasons. English spring with the blossom forming on trees. Studies of French foliage in the dry summer months. Autumn brings storms to the UK, fallen trees contrast with the upright spires of cacti in Mexico. Ice formations in alpine lakes and fallen twigs making imprints and patterns on the winter landscape. These sketches are publicly exhibited here for the first time.
